The Livingston Theatre Company is excited to be accepting auditions for our first Main-Stage production of the 23rd season, The Addams Family: A Quarantined Concert Edition.
To address social distancing concerns during the pandemic of 2020, this 85-minute Dramatic Concert Version of THE ADDAMS FAMILY is intended to be played to a socially separated audience by a cast of socially separated actors.

AUDITION INFORMATION:
****Please note that auditions will be conducted remotely through Pre-Recorded Videos sent by audition candidates. We will be accepting video submissions sent to info@ruLTC.org. Video submissions will be accepted from Tuesday, November 3rd- Friday, November 6th. Video Submissions are due no later than 11:59pm on Friday, November 6th.

-16-32 measures (roughly one-minute video) of a contemporary musical theatre or pop song to be sung a cappella
-Your schedule/list of conflicts up until December 6th
-Your RUID number
*Please refrain in possible from performing a musical selection from The Addams Family.

This audition process is open to all part-time and full-time current undergrad Rutgers students, including incoming freshmen/transfer students! No prior experience is necessary.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
