Oklahoma Director and Production Staff Applications

The Livingston Theatre Company is proud to present its final main stage production of the 2016-2017 season: Oklahoma!

Oklahoma! is the first musical written by the famous composing duo Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The story is set in Oklahoma Territory in 1906 and follows the charming cattle rancher Curly McLain and his blossoming romance with the farm girl Laurey Williams. Oklahoma! was a revolutionary musical in the 20th century where the songs and dances are fully incorporated into the plot with purposes of continuing the story throughout each musical number. The famous “dream ballet” marks Oklahoma! as one of the most innovative musicals of its time.
